Vintage Italian nativity set, rustic wood & particle-board stable, glued-down, hard plastic figures. Stable is approx. 11.75″ wide, left to right, 8.5″ tall, 5.25″ deep. Base has “Made in Italy” marking, indicating its origin. Figures are about 3″ tall for Mary & about 3.25″ for Joseph. Also, Baby Jesus figure in a manger & 3 small sheep. One sheep is beige & other 2 are white. I don't know if the beige one is original to the set. Figures are permanently affixed (glued) to the base, a common trait of vintage Italian sets, so they can't be removed for inspection. Stable has moss-like material on it. Some of the moss is starting to fall off and you will find some in packaging when you receive it. The particle-board base shows some age and minor warping. Stable is put together very well and remains sturdy. The figures have minor wear typical for their age. No cracks, missing limbs, or major paint loss. I did a light cleaning, but I will leave a full cleaning up to new owner. Smoke free.
