Vintage 3 1/4 inch High Yellow Quartz Snuff Bottle

Larger and taller snuff bottles have certain presence, perhaps by their size. This bottle is carved out of yellow quartz and has a very interesting mottled appearance with tiny rust lines creating an interesting texture under the smooth surface. The flattened body tapers to a raised oval foot. The rounded shoulders support a neck wth a slightly concave top. The bottle feels heavy to the touch but it is till hollowed out so it can hold a good amount of snuff. It is matched with a dark brown agate stopper with a cork core.

Condition: good, there is a tiny rough spot on the edge of the opening
