Here is a unique estate find. At just over 1 1/2 inches long, this oval Pietra Dura button would be a stunning focal point for a shawl, or cape. It could also be converted into a brooch or pendant. The button features one full white flower with two, smaller white blooms. Accenting the white are two small red flowers in bloom and two red blooms on a limb. The flowers are enveloped in green leaves. The mosaic is set in silver tone metal framed by a soldered chain.
The button is in good used condition. There appears to be one small chip in one white petal. He centere of one red flower is also missing. The darker marks seen the pictures look like excess glue. There are no markings and the metal is untested.
