This stainless steel glass locket features an extremely rare form of herkimer diamond, called golden enhydro quartz. Golden enhydro quartz, also known as petroleum quartz or enpetro quartz, is one of the most extraordinary forms of quartz crystals. The golden oils in these crystals GLOW under UV light, as seen in pictures.
Enhydro is a Greek word meaning water within. Golden enhydros got their name when quartz crystals formed around liquid yellow petroleum oil deposits, sealing them inside forever. Herkimer diamond is believed by some to have metaphysical properties including healing, increasing spiritual energy and opening up the crown and third eye chakras.
Locket is approx 1 inch in diameter, comes on 20 inch sterling silver plated rolo chain + extender.
