| The Larson Electronics EPCS-MTS-3P-40HP-480V-120C-DB-PB.R-ESTP-2XPL Explosion Proof Combination Motor Starter provides operators with general motor control, as well as motor overload and undervoltage protection in Class I, II and III rated sites. This unit features a 40HP contactor @ three-phase 480V and a single-phase 120V coil. Operators may access push buttons, an emergency stop push button, pilot lights and hour meter on the device. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO EXPLOSION PROOF ENCLOSURES* The EPCS-MTS-3P-40HP-480V-120C-DB-PB.R-ESTP-2XPL provides motor protection and control inside combustible facilities. This combination starter features a 100-amp main breaker and an adjustable thermal overload relay. The 40 HP contactor is rated at three-phase 480V 60Hz with a single-phase 120V coil. An included hour meter operates on 120V 60Hz. This 35 kaic device contains a green push button with contact (legend "START"), a red push button with contact (legend "STOP") and an emergency stop mushroom red push button with a normally closed contact (legend "ESD"). The following pilot lights can be found on the unit: white (legend "Power Available") and green (legend "RUN"). The explosion proof unit is constructed of copper-free aluminum. Stainless steel springs allow operators to clearly see that all bolts are fully retracted from the body. A breather is installed at the top of the combination starter and a drain valve can be accessed at the bottom of the device. Mounting: The EPCS-MTS-3P-40HP-480V-120C-DB-PB.R-ESTP-2XPL has a simple installation, completed with an included pre-drilled mounting plate within the enclosure, which is field removable. A steel bracket for lifting larger enclosures during installation is also included in the standard model. Applications: Indoor and outdoor general motor control protection in hazardous locations, areas where frequent washdowns occur, or where heavy rain and water spray is present, for motor overload and undervoltage protection, and locations where centrally located motor control is necessary. |
