This antique glass insulator has been upcycled into a beautiful candle holder, complete with a metal stand and a new led votive candle with a 6 hour built in timer.
It stands about 10" tall. The glass insulator can be removed from the metal stand. Candle burn real candles or led candles. 3.25" across top of glass insulator. Created by me.
"These colorful glass pieces were used on telegraph and telephone poles screwed to wood pegs in the cross arms of the poles where the lines were tied from pole to pole.
The heyday of insulators is considered to be the period between 1875-1930."
