Beautiful antique French millinery bust marked MG4T, dating to the early 1900s. These velvet-covered papier-mâché forms were used in European ateliers and department stores to display women's hats, veils, and accessories. This example retains its original velvet covering and cast-iron weighted base, showing the appealing patina and authentic wear expected from more than a century of use. The surface shows rubbing to the velvet, edge wear, small interior tears, and finish loss on the base, all consistent with genuine millinery shop provenance.
