This is a set of four tumblers and one carafe in Anchor Hocking’s Manhattan pattern. It is characterized by its horizontal ribbed design achieved from pressed glass molds. This pattern was produced from 1938 to 1943.
The four tumblers have a “bubble foot" base. They measure approximately 5 1/4 inches in height and hold 10 ounces. They are in very good condition given their age. There are some light scuffs here and there, but there are no chips or egregious flaws. For the most part, very clear.
The carafe is technically not in the Manhattan collection rather it is an Anchor Hocking 64 oz Chiller Carafe or Beehive Glass Refrigerator Pitcher in clear glass. The ribs are not as sharp on the carafe vs the tumblers but the design is identical. It has a capacity of 64 ounces and stands about 9 to 9 1/4 inches tall with the lid on. This carafe is in excellent condition with no flaws. The gasket is airtight and clean.
