Nice woven rattan framed handbag, c. 1960s
Made of natural-color rattan that has been plastic-coated for protection and woven in a classic framed style
Bag has two rows of large brown lucite or hard plastic beads across the lower front side, and the handle is constructed of the same beads
Closure flap and bottom hinges are made of brown cowhide leather
Four metal feet on the bottom
Measures 9" wide, 8" tall, 3.5" deep
Handle drop 4.5"
Interior lined in light brown cotton fabric w/ slip pocket on the back side
There is no tag
CONDITION: Two small spots on the lining (see photos), and the leather of the flap is a bit dry and cracked at the top where it folds over, but a little leather conditioner or Vaseline will help. Otherwise, good vintage condition for its age.
